Annabelle Boyd
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Annabelle, and I’m a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist dedicated to supporting children and their families.
How children explore, play, and interact with the world around them is truly captivating. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child is unique, with their own strengths, areas for growth, and individual dreams. I approach each child with an open heart and a commitment to understanding their specific needs, recognizing that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution in therapy.
In my practice, I embrace a neuro-affirming approach. I believe that every child is whole and that differences in how we think, feel, and interact with the world are not deficits to be fixed but unique strengths to be celebrated. My goal is to nurture each child’s growth and well-being, supporting them to thrive in a way that honours their individuality. By recognizing and embracing diversity, we can empower children to reach their fullest potential just as they are.
I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves. Fostering this sense of security and trust allows each child to build confidence and a sense of belonging, which is essential for meaningful growth and connection.
I also believe in the importance of balance and taking time for myself to recharge. Outside of work, you’ll often find me enjoying bush walks, painting, or feeling the sand between my toes at the beach. Travelling is a passion of mine, and I love exploring new places and cultures. I’m a proud dog owner (my furry companion, Gigi, is my best friend and co-regulator!), and spending quality time with my family is something I cherish deeply.
Life is a journey, and I believe in the power of creating meaningful connections with those around us—whether it’s through therapy or in our everyday lives. As someone who is neurodivergent, I’m passionate about embracing and celebrating different ways of thinking and being. I understand firsthand how powerful it can be to honour your own rhythm and way of seeing the world.
